Home for the holiday (left: the beach). Definitely different from the foot of snow I left in Michigan.
The break was nice. Some time was spent at home eating great food. One weekend was dedicated to a Las Vegas trip with the old UCLA friends to watch the Vegas Bowl and play craps. The rest of the time was spent relaxing, watching TV and taking a break from the waves of life. Visited Paul for New Years since I do not know many people in the area (good times!).
Home is amazing. I remember how it took some time to develop that feeling in LA. Hopefully Michigan will become more homey in the coming months.
